Andrew Luck

    Andrew Luck

Have to give props to this guy. Might already be a top 5 QB already. Mediocre oline, terrible running game, one legitimate weapon, playing a bad weather road playoff game.

Might have a little too much of that gunslinger mentality, but he also has to force more passes than most QB's considering his supporting cast.

Brady/Manning/Rodgers class in two years at most.

Yeah, and Brady is a 14 year pro and Luck is in his 2nd year. I already stated he's not in the same class as Brady yet.

But Luck is way ahead of most 2nd year QB's that the league has seen.

Wilson is legit too. But he plays against a good running game and great rb.

Cam Newton this yr is not that much more different than last season...it's just his defense is playing better...but he has the worst weapons of all the young Qbs

Many years...if you have been only follwing the PAts since 2007 you would not know that.

Brady was much more careful with the ball right from the beginning. Luck will be good but more like a Brett Farve...he will be the main reason his team loses in many games due to carelessness. Don't know how he will change that without giving up some of the more spectacular things he does.

I'm not talking just WRs...Whole team affects the entire gameplan. Don't ignore the fact that we had a great D that won us most of those playoff games.

Outside of 2004 and 2006, I wouldnt say we hada great running game, but we had a servicable one. Great ball control offense.

Brown and Trent are barely serviceable.

Brady was more careful because he had a reliable defense and decent running game to back him...much like Russell Wilson, who I like too.

I'm going to give Luck some benefit of the doubt because this wasn't an overly great Colts roster.

If Luck is still a gunslinger in a couple of years with an improved team...then I will say he's underperforming.

But if you told me our first QB post Brady can play like Luck in his first two seasons, then I would be ecstatic

I think he is, Wilson is on a team thathas a good running game and the all world Defense takes tons of pressure off the offense.
