    Another retarded ESPN stat

ESPN just said how great Ray Rice has been vs NE min 5 games as he has averaged 133 yds..they compared him to E James T Davis J Riggins and others saying how he has topped them all with a 133 yds avg against...what these amatuers failed to mention was Rices 1 huge game vs NE in the playoffs skewed that avg ...I hate ESPN!

    Re: Another ESPN stat

That game was about the only really lopsided affair between the two teams. It kind of skews all the numbers for Baltimore's offense against NE, Rice, Flacco, Brady against Baltimore.

The "truth" outside of that is that they've played each other incredibly close this last part of the decade.

Kind of like how people play with the stats to say the Colts or Manning beat the pats 3 out of 4 times or something but take away the games that Brady and Manning didn't play and Manning won like twice ever.

Question...since the first meeting this season what has changed? last seasons championship game and the history between the teams has little bearing on who will prevail today. Nor will the win one for the gipper call to arms by both teams leaders.

The team that executes their game plan and scores the most points will win...The patriots are favored for a reason. now they have to go out and prove why...by winning the game...

What are you talking about? If anything, the skew is his AFC championship game from last season.
