So a non favored team who loses is a choke??? Then what do you call a favored team and the QB leading them who throws a pick six to lose a superbowl??? Doh! - my fault it was the onside kick......

LOL.....  A choke is a choke. Why do you have to be "favored"?

Anytime Peyton loses, favored or not you trolls call him a choker.

Are you already coming up with excuses for why Brady can't be a choker?
Why would anyone care what a DB, that joined 5 min ago, has to say?

Brady has choked, just not anywhere near the level of Gomie. Get it?

AND Brady has admitted it in post game conferences instead of somebodys famous "We had protection problems - the line didnt protect me"...after one of his one and dones (with 8 in his history I cant recall the specific one)

Hey Gomez...you have to know that if your hero loses this game at home to the depleted Patriots, that his legacy will be forever tarnished. There will be no more Brady/Manning debates...because everyone will know without question who was/is the better QB.

Oh, by the way, who do you think that the Colts will use their first round pick on in the upcoming draft to improve their team? Oh, right...sorry about that.

         LOL!!!!

"The penalty you are referring to was not "faceguarding" ya fool!  If you are not looking back at the ball (playing the ball as the rule states) and you make contact with the receiver (which happened on this play) then it is always going to be called Pass Interference.  The announcer incorrectly called it faceguarding, but it was called PI because the defender has his back to the ball and did not play the ball and interfered with the receiver's ability to catch the ball.  Get over it losers!!!"

    and you're not "patsgetscrewedfinally"?

curious that guy posted pretty much the exact explanation regarding the faceguarding call a couple weeks ago. I pointed out that there was NO contact by Hobbs and that's why Simms came up with "facegaurding" because he couldn't call it anything else as, again, Hobbs NEVER touched the receiver, and now you've "proactively" added that it doesn"t matter what the announcer said---nice try
Absolutely - Hobbs didnt touch him- he just didnt

Definitely a fear.  There is no doubt.   It's known around the league that the Colts or now Broncos, get calls over the opponent, especially when behind and needing a call on 3rd downs or to gain yards with a phantom PI down the field whe they're struggling to move the ball.

It's not debatable, so that is clearly a major fear to see a title game shaped by Goodell's henchmen.

In the end, the Pats will need to get past anything shenanigans. They have no choice.

If this were true, why haven't they won more?

All i can think of is 2005 and 2006 season where everytime he needed a first down, a PI flag would appear....I fear a repeat of 2006 AFC Champ game, where suddenly faceguarding is suddenly a penalty again.....

Flags or not, Pats can only play their best.  As much as flags can hurt, they are only a play or two.  Unless there is a flag that gives a team points to win a game, and the game ends right there, without the need to run a play, a play still needs to be run which the D can still stop.  We can grumble all we want and it is a fan thing more than a player thing.  Players know they have to make plays regardless of the flags.  A flag means the play has to be run again or another play has to happen.

Hopefully the pats do a good job controlling the ball and the clock so those calls won't be a factor.
+1 - Pats can't control the flags, they CAN control how they play and react to the flags.  A stop can always happen after a flag.

PaPa..  you really do have issues with the Pats.  You need to see a therapist or support a team that you DO like wins a lot so you do not have to vent against the Pats, a team that does!

And, more importantly, Patriots fans complaining about officiating? Seriously? When'd we get to Bizzaro World? The refs routinely treat Captain Emo like he's made of Faberge Eggs, and his fans have the gall to complain about officiating ,ever? Really? The team is caught cheating, and they get to keep their records and rings, and their fans have the gall to complain about officiating? REALLY?

Never thought you would admit thats what its all about with you....sleep well dont you with that in your head.......

    Think of it this way:

Pats lead between 4-7 pts, 10 seconds left in the gameand the Broncos have the ball on the Patriot 35 yard line.

What are the chances the outcome of the next play is either a TD for Denver or Denver awarded a play from the 1 due to PI?

Sad to say, but I gotta agree with you on this. We )as Pats fans) habitualoly whine abotu the Manning Rules, yet never say "BOO!" about the Brady Rules, which I'm quite sure Denver folks have been mentioning all the time.

Nice to have a casual forgetfulness, huh?

JUST PLAY THE DAMNED GAME AND I'M SURE WE'LL FIND SOMETHING TO BICH ABOUT AFTER. IT'S IN OUR BLOOD!
