    Anyone watching Baltimore-Cincy?

    Comparisons could be interesting.

So far, Flacco is looking much worse than against the Jets.  On monday he at least had the nonstop-blitzes excuse.

yeah, short week, second road game, etc. but , man, he is just throwing the ball away every passing down..

Yes,  my assessment.....Flucko sux's and the Bungles D must be better then the Jets D since there shutting out the mighty Ravens O.

Can't wait till we play them.

    well

jets run D is just awesome, cincy is not really stopping the run, but Flacco has killed every drive!

i dont have the stats to compare, but it seems Baltimore moved the ball better last week.

also, cincy's rookies (gresham, shipley) are playing really well today

    edit:

just like that, a great Flacco series to start the second half
so far, i'm  not impressed by either team

I said on another thread this morning that the Ravens' offense looked awful last week.  Looks like there's nothing going on in Cincy that would change my assessment.

Wouldn't the obvious conclusion to the Ravens offense succking be that the Jets defense wasn't that impressive?

Cincy actually looks pretty good.  I remember reading that the defenses are usually better than the offenses because the O takes a few weeks to develop.  The Pats O looked like they are about 8 weeks ahead of everyone else.

Cincy was given a lot of credit, for the most part, on these boards at least. That's why I was so impressed with the play from our team last week.

They could of killed an extra minute or even made a play if they ran the ball instead of throwing 2 inc passes TO_Dropski.

Cincy is going to win this. Most Power Rankings have Baltimore ahead of New England. If New England can win convincingly today, then they can state a case that New England is the best or second best team in the league.

I agree the Pats looked good but after the game a lot of people said "Cincy blows so it doesn't mean anything to beat them."  Lots of people also said the Ravens have a great offense but the Jets defense was incredibly good.  I'm just pointing out that all these things can't be true:

Baltimore's offense is great, so the Jets defense is greater
Baltimore's offense is terrible, so Cincy's defense is bad and in turn the Pats offense was not that good because they beat Cincy.

I just think everytime the Pats beat a team, some people will dismiss it and go "Well I guess that team wasn't any good so it's not a big win."

The way the Patriots easily beat the Bengals, reminds me of how dominating your team was  during the 2007-2008 season. Maybe even better! I know it's only one game, but Brady is an Amazing QB. Even though I'm a Steeler fan, Wes Welker is one of my favorite players because he plays the game like it should be played. No showboating and he's such a humble person.  Brady may be doing the driving, but Welker is the spark that fuels your team. Now go out and beat the Jets, the self-proclaimed Super Bowl Champs! The other thing to remember is that teams match up differently. I don't think you can accurately predict what a team will be able to do against a certain opponent judging by what they did against an entirely different opponent. That said, I think the Ravens' poor performance against Green New Jersey was equal parts a pretty good Jests defense and a Joe Flacco who is not as good as some folks might like to portray him.

Of course those same people who do the power rankings also think the Cowboys and Vikings are SB contenders
