    Actually I'd prefer if the whiners went off the ledge ... onto another team's bandwagon - may I suggest the Vikings?

    Question though, encinitas - isn't it better to have veterans at the skill defensive positions - the back 7/8, than on the D-line?  Isn't experience more useful back there where you have to read and react and make decisions (even though our linemen have the added responsibility of diagnosing run/pass, unlike many one gap systems).  The positions I'd least like to see inexperience are linebacker and safety, but that is where we have the most inexperience (soon to be without AD).

    Some experience is always good, but at this point I will take 2 good rookies at OLB if they can remotely rush the passer, not break often, and play when it counts.
