Hmm, didn't see anything on Hightower nor did I see anything wrong with him this past Sunday.  It's probably just standard precaution.  My guess is that if the Pats were playing this weekend, both Brady and Hightower would be out there.

This extra week of rest surely helps guys like Nink, Talib, Dennard, Jones, Gronk, etc. to get some rest/recuperation.

I think it also helps guys like Mankins and Hernandez too. But especially those D players and Gronk.

Hightower has been playing lights out.  They are probably regulating the whole Rookie wall thing by giving him a little extra breather.

I hope Hightower is okay, 60 tackles and 4 sacks in 13 games is impressive for a rookie OLB in a 4-3.

Brady is just a rest day and Ninkovich is likely to miss next game.

Does TB really need to practice?

Practice, we're talking about practice!  Reading too much into this given the next Pats game is 11 days away.

Yes, he had no chemistry with Hernandez or Lloyd the last few weeks and with Gronk missing, he might be lacking chemistry with him as well. Deion Branch was too old last season, this season he's ancient.

Brady needs to work with Lloyd and Hernandez or we're going no where in the playoffs. He can't throw the ball to Welker 100 times a game.

I know you guys think Brady is infallible, but it's both their faults. What happened to a QB working with his receivers to get in sync with them?

YAC Man needs to work with a Juggs machine.  It's like all of a sudden the guy lost all the bones in his hands.  I think the SF game shook him a bit.
