Brady's Pocket Presence - Lack of Sacks

The numbers are this so far this season for TB: 1 sack out of 142 pass attempts.

Last season, Cassel was sacked 47 times in 516 pass attempts.

It isn't new that TB has a great sense of when he's in trouble and when to get the ball off, but so far these numbers are great.

Cassel played with the same offensive line, and was / is much more mobile than TB.  Now, TB with less mobility than ever before and an offensive line that is one year older, is handling the pocket well, especially good defensive fronts like the Jets, and even the Bills with Schobel.

You only need to mobile if you plan to run. Pocket presence, intuition and just plain football smarts will help avoid sacks. Brady is a master of all 3. He is no Marino as far as release, BUT he does know when to get rid of it. I don't think the O line has been spectacular, there has been pressure, he has just avoided it or gotten rid of the ball.

The Jets put Brady on his rear end 23 times!Your Oline is highly overrated even at mediocre...they stink!

Do I really need to add anything else to this discussion?
