Can we please stop incorrectly describing this play?

Seems like every day someone posts about how this play was an example of the Pats not blitzing enough players, or the secondary was out of position. You know, the one against the Jets in OT last season, 3rd and 15, Favre to that Jets tight end, 1st down. We rushed 3, and everyone acts like Favre had 4 seconds to throw. Or they say Merriweather was too far back? Go to 5:09 on this video. http://www.nfl.com/videos/nfl-game-highlights/09000d5d80c78f98/Jets-vs-Patriots-highlights
At 5:11, the ball reaches Favre's hands. At 5:13, the ball is out of his hands. Pressure had nothing to do with the result. We could have blitzed 8 and he still would have gotten rid of the ball just as fast.
And Merriweather was in position to make the stop. At 5:14, the guy catches it 4 yards short of the first, Merriweather is right in front of him, one yard behind the first. Merriweather initiates contact while the guy is still a yard short of the first. The only reason we gave up the first is that Merriweather failed to make the stop. All the pressure in the world wouldn't have mattered, and the players were in the right position to make the play. Merriweather simply didn't get the job done.
