Did we just see the Pats of the early decade today?

I had to pinch myself to see if it were true.  We played like we did in our championship years.  We have a long way to go, but it was nice to see us go back to our winning ways.  This is the type of offense we need to play.  Ditto for the D.  If we keep this up we will surprise some folks in the playoffs.  That said, the road to the Lombardi is going to be especially tough this year.

Agree! A nice game at the right time...bad-luck for Maroney...he was in, the refs knew it...make-up call to RM for his 3rd TD.

Merry Christmas! Plays to the 2 solid TE's...we knew it!

The field matters for this team..make a better effort at getting HF (in the magic dust) next year.

Cant say that until they put a few games like that together.

With the Colts going down today, the team of the decade pretty much will stay with the Pats.  It would have taken a 19 - 0 season for the Colts to even sniff at that coronation.  With 3 SB wins and 4 appearances in the SB and a 16 - 0 regular season in the bag, it is the Pats 100%.  Plus, the Pats 2007 team will still be regarded as the best team in this decade.

They looked prety sharp, except for that Maroney fumble. TB spread the ball around alot, the running game clicked

They found the Oline that works. Vollmer at RT, Kaczur on the bench. Connelly and Neal rotating and Connelly at FB as well.

You have to like the talent on this team. They are starting to come together and working out some of their problems.

They have seemed less "predictable" the last 2 games mixing things up.

I can't put too much into one game especially since Jacksonville didn't really show up for the game, BUT, this is exactly the kind of football you want your team playing going into the playoffs. They are looking like they are playing the best ball of the season right now.

It was good ro see both Morris & Taylor run so well and will add a lot to the playoffs. Faulk was his usual self playing very well. What should we expect to see first; Maroney ever getting another chance to run from one yard out or BB going for a 4th down inside an opponents 50? Anyway, wouldn't it be something if they are indeed peaking at this time? The playoffs should be fun.

Re: Did we just see the Pats of the early decade today?

Brady looked like he was considerably healthier this weekend than he has in the past few games.  He was dead-on all game long and didn't look like he was having trouble.  1 bad throw, but it was still just about catchable for Moss.  Team looks great at the right time.. if they keep it up, Colts are in for trouble between the Pats and Chargers.
