Right move obviously, only question is why it took them so long to figure it out. Really, what were they thinking about the last 3 weeks. Maybe in another month they'll figure out Curtis Painter isn't the QB of the future.

Caldwell rode Dungy's coattails long enough.

That's too bad, I was hoping he would coach them until retirement.

The Colts are going to struggle for years to come given the speed that decision was made imo.

Its possible.  Its also possible that if Manning ends up being healthy (big "if", I know) then the offense will be fine, and any regime change on the defensive side would be better than what we have thus far.

So, I'll throw my hat into the ring of hope.  Of course, I am a colts fan.

Not as long as Dungy rode Peytons!

I'm not crying for him. He cost me 2K via a FFL Championship by benching Manning for Painter when they trashed their undefeated season. I was a Saints fan during that SB; loved that onside kick.

BTW; PATS appear to be the SB Winner this yr. I would be surprised otherwise.

Good one! LOL, but it is probably true. Why pay 28 mil to a 37 year QB coming of a missed season for a neck injury.
