    Downs

Hopefully these two LB's improve by the time we start playing real passing offenses.

    DOWN

Aaron Dobson: Rookie receiver scores a touchdown on his first career play, but also has a dropped ball on a long pass and can't get on the same page with Brady.

Jerod Mayo: Linebacker looks like he's a step behind in coverage.

Brandon Spikes: Linebacker struggles in coverage and isn't a big factor against the run.

    Aaron Dobson.  "AD".  All Drops.

    j/k

I expect him to improve week to week.  It just might not be fast enough to get them to where they need to be.

    In response to NedNiederlander's comment:

Brady plays QB.  So far? Brady not playing well this season. FACT

Brady pulls out a win without a running game and with a terrible WR group.  Thank you TFB!

    Re: Downs

I'm sure it's a coincidence that the offense is struggling mightily when the number 6 receiving option last year is the number one option this year.

Brady should have seen this coming and done more in the offseason to sign players he could throw to. Brady should also stop drafting tight ends that drop in the draft due to concerns that turn out to be quite legit.

    Downs on offense last night:

    BRADY, SOLDER, DOBSON.

The rookie receivers did get open, and yes, did drop a few, but Brady missed badly with several throws behind the WRs or overthrew them.  Solder had a forgettable game.  Dobson did have a few drops, at least one of which he should have had.
