    Dr Jekyl & Mr. Hyde

BB is a HOF coach but a loser when it comes to drafting NFL players. Look at his body of work since 2001. We have drafted Seymour, Branch, Samuel, Mankins Wilfork and Mayo in TEN DAMNED YEARS!

Compare that to Pitts, Dallas Ariz, Houston NYG, or others.

All you BB apologist, please wake up. he's ruining this team with cheap, trade downs and safe players. We could have used Odrick, Hughes or Best at 22 - instead we trade down and get a CB rated as low as 9th (About.com/football) and an OLB rated the same.

You compare it, add up the pro bowlers and HOF's on those teams and see how many they have.  Or just count the SB's those teams have won.  HOU, Dal, Ariz- you can't be serious.  You are officially banned from watching football for failure to understand.  This is a lifetime ban, harsh but necessary, good luck in your next life.

You seem to forgotten Edelman, Ghost, Cassel (we did get a 2nd for him), Warren, Vollmer, Merriweather, Butler, Brady (you did say ten years, that's 00-09), Koppen, Light, Green (was a starter and is a starter for Den), TBC (just signed a big contract for us), Sanders (another starter), and that not drafting Neal and Guyton as UFA all of which have been starters and Slater who's been a ST warrior.  Not bad

Yes  Edelman and Volmer might be ok but the rest are journeymen with the exception of Ghost.

Sanders, ok, Green stunk it up last year before being dumped off to Den, what BIG plays has Warren made? Merriweather is up and down, did not have a good '09

You still forgot to comment on Koppen, Light, Brady all pro bowlers.

Warren has anchered on LDE for years now and was considered a beast with Seymour on hte other side. Last year they doubled him up. Don't forget in a 34 DE aren't meant to be rusher but to take up lineman.

Merriweather made his first pro bowl and has improved every year.

Butler took over the starting role and besides a few rookie mistakes looked pretty good.

As far as the rest, journeyman or not they started or are starting with the Pats or other teams. Isn't the name of the game to get starters? You can't draft all super stars but getting starters and those that other teams feel are starters isn't that what it's about.

Im going to agree with you here in part, because Im tired of hearing that it was BB that won those Super Bowls. It was not BB that won them, it was Tom Brady and Adam Vin. Since those Super Bowls and the leaving of his coaches, BB has done nothing. Brady went down for a year and in came Cassel that in all fairness did excellent. For the last 3 years BB has been lost and its going to get worse. Last year way too many coaching errors, penalities, even botched clock management and now hes taking over the entire coaching system. Unfortunately most hail him as the living legend when in fact if it were not for the TEAM PLAYERS and Adam V the Super Bowls would not exist. Now that he is on a downward slide no one wants to call him out on his ridiculous decisions such as the coaching system he is undertaking. If he was so great then explain the system he had in place in Cleveland from 1991 to 1995. Once again he is slipping to his Cleveland days and NO ONE wants to see it, say it or admit it. This year when the Patriots once again have no running game, have a very weak secondary and no one to get to the quaterback people will start to realize he just is not that good unless he surrounds himself with a real coaching staff. Again its the people around him that made him shine, and now he is pretty much on his own. Do I like this? No I dont but Im a realist and thats just the way its turning out. Sorry Patriot fans, this year wont be that good and unfortunately you heard it here first.
