We beat the tar out of the Colts in almost every statistical category tonight and yet lost the game on a bonehead decision...An average punt by Hansen, of say 40 yards, would have put the Colts deep in their own territory with 2.00 remaining. I can only conclude Coach Bill did not have faith in his defense to keep Manning and company out of the end zone even though they would have been 60+ yards away. I feel really bad for Brady, Moss and Welker who all played superb football. Maroney cost us seven points and the coach cost us the game...Throwing a 2 yd pass or more to Welker would have been the wiser choice if that was what the coach wanted. Welker is the best in the business in a short yardage situation..
