Well, I'd say he's a poor mans version of Vrable right now. He's not up to Vrable level yet but he's better then most expected him to be.

I dont' know if he'll be a starting OLB going forward and I would like to upgrade the OLB/DE position, however, he has most definitely earn his spot and his pay. He's on my short list to bring back on D for the opening day roster next season along with guys like Vince, Chung, Mayo, and Spikes

This is true King. With Nin, Mayo, Fletcher, and Spikes if they can add 2 more solid guys (a cover LB and a pass rushing specialist) I think this LB core can be just as good as the 01-05 LB core.

Now if they can get Brockers or Still in the draft too (Brockers reminds me a lot of Seymour), bring back Carter and Anderson that could be the best front 7 we've had since the 03' 04' season
Anyone remember when I said I liked Ninkovich's upside and Phat Rex mocked me? LOL! He's basically morphed into a Mike Vrabel here. Yes, same number, etc, but with each year and more reps, he's been better, which is what any fan should be looking for. Too poor to go to college, worked and went to JuCo in Illinois and then wreaked havoc opposite highly priced Ray Edwards (now with Atl) at Purdue. At the time the Vrabel discussions came up, with the obvious comparisons, you could see each's production at a quality Div 1 program were similar, even with Nink's being superior. Congrats to him and let's hope he finishes strong. Great story. Classic BB type player.

Great piece on a player I enjoy watching.  Be really great to see him make a play or two against the Ravens.

    Posted by PatsEng
I would love to get Brockers. I just don't think BB likes to go after Redshirt Sophmores. He likes kids to stay in school and get 4 year players. Maybee Andre Branch from Clemson

I wouldn't put him in Vrabel's category yet.  He's improving.  I didn't see it, I'll admit.  At first, he was pretty mediocre, and a minus athlete.  He was serviceable.  If he can evolve into a playmaker who can disguise and use multiple pass rush moves, that would be amazing.
