Gronk: Did he make a difference in his return?

    Yup...

    Per Reiss:

    1. The Patriots have scored five touchdowns in six trips inside the red zone since tight end Rob Gronkowski returned to the lineup on Oct. 20 against the New York Jets. Before Gronkowski’s return, they had scored just nine touchdowns in 22 trips. Coincidence? Not in the least. While Gronkowski is still working his way toward a full load of snaps played, one thing that has stood out from watching all the team's red zone snaps over the past two weeks is how Gronkowski is drawing considerable attention from the opponent, opening opportunities for others.

Yes the Gronk has to be double and sometimes tripled team in all areas of the field not just in tne red. I agree.

This guy may be one of the best weapons in football, it doesn't matter what type of numbers he's putting up, he's drawing coverage...that makes a difference.

Gronk can be double covered so that his receptions don't show up in the stats, but that leaves the opponent one guy short elsewhere.  Gronk's blocking doesn't show up in most stats, but he's the best blocking tight end in the NFL.

Today after sundown is a pretty good time for a running game.  It's cold.

As I type this, Brady is 11 for 13 with seven of those completions to Gronkowski.

    The Pats are up 17-3.

Obviously this is a major problem.  Brady had better stop staring down Gronkowski.  Throwing the ball to the best receiver on the team again and again is a terrible idea.
