[QUOTE]In Response to Re: How long till Ridley outright takes BJGE's job? : BJGE is solid.  Ridley is good. That is the difference I am talking about. BB drafted two running backs, in part, because BJGE is merely solid. You can always improve from solid.  That's really the point of the thread. Ridley can be exceptional in this offense I think.

    absolutely concur. my thoughts exactly

In Response to Re: How long till Ridley outright takes BJGE's job? : That is certainly true. But I feel like BJGE doesn't force the other team to really account for him. Don't you think Ridley can do that better, even given the small amount of NFL reps he has so far?

[QUOTE]In Response to Re: How long till Ridley outright takes BJGE's job? : bjge was open underneath for huge yacs on more than a couple of completions to wes. as i said on another post. not a complaint. it's opportunity for future games. any adjustment to him will open up the te further downfield.

give bnje the ball on 5 dumpoffs and give ridley the ball in the same place.
5- 10 yards vs 10-90 yards possible result. who do you want on the field touching the ball.

[QUOTE]It's disturbing seeing ZBellino stand steadfastly behind not running it more and not really knowing Ridley much as an LSU fan, and now his behavior in this thread. He was one manking fun of those who pointed to the shotgun/spread flaws all this week. Unbelievable. What a fraud.

Just wondering how much you'll be ranting about Ridley the first time Brady gets buried because he fails to pick up a blitz. You seem to see everything through the fantasy football stats.

[QUOTE]It's a committee, like about 25 other teams. Neither is head and shoulders above the other. There's no "job" to take.  No such thing as a "feature back'' as long as 12 is there.  Doesn't matter who starts, this isn't high school.

    Yup.
