you got me on that.....but just look at this super bowl for example. jim harbaugh is hated by alot of fans....
But he shows up for after a loss interviews. He answers questions without obvious disdain at pressers. He never had a spygate. He never shoved a cameraman down just trying to do his job. He didn't snub the opposing coach with the after game handshake. He didn't get caught saying, "best defense in the league, suck my d***". -

I wouldnt hate him. I'd probably make fun of his grim publi demeanor though -

I would laugh at him just like I did Shula in Miami because like Shula, he won SBs early in career and then would get to playoffs every year just to fall flat......

This is false. Harbaugh blew off an interview after last year's title game where SF blew it. Funny how Shannon Sharpe didn't seem to care as much. -

I wouldn't hate him at all. Why would I? He's a great coach just like the Harbaugh's and I like both of those guys too even though they are coaching rival teams. So he isn't friendly with the media, he could be a great guy outside of that, in fact several people have said so. We don't have any idea what he's like. He's the main reason why the Patriots have been so good for so long but he was outcoached on Sunday by another great coach.

BB is not in it to be popular with the "fans"! He is hired to coach a team, a group of men, to excel and win a championship. It is not a ballet recital here folks. Lombardi and he are similar in their gruff exterior and "all business" approach to things. BB has disdain for folks, primarily the media with their "baiting" questions, who take the obvious and try to make more out of it than it is.

Was Bill Walsh hated? Or Joe Gibbs?I love the Patriots, but if you think the only reason people dislike BB is because of the winning you are wrong. He was hated when was in Cleveland and they had a 36-44 record and 1 playoff win. My attitude towards him has always been so long as the team is winning I could not care less about any of his personality traits...
