I honestly cannot believe people think the Sergio Brown call was a phantom penalty. He ran into the receiver and had no idea where the ball was. The only the ball land five yards past the him was because he knocked him down so early in the play. This is one of those times fans are being blinded by laundry. If the same play had happened with Deon Grant running over Welker at the goalline, and there was no flag or the pass was ruled uncatchable, I am sure that your head would have exploded with rage. You need to have at least a little perspective. You may not like the calls, but both of those calls are made 100% of the time.

This game was not won or lost on penalties. In the first half of the game, when the defense was playing well, the offense was pathetic. In the second half, the defense could not stop the Giants while the O was finally putting points on the board. They blew two fourth quarter leads. They turned the ball over 4 times. That is why they lost.

Guys calm down the PATS will be fine next week against the Jets is a toss up may win it or lose it but we have easy schedule after Jets game we can still go 12-4 or 11-5 remember the Packers were 6-5 this time last season and when winning the superbowl . The Pats lost the game because of silly mistakes like the PI against the Kyle Arringhton which the call was awful and the one on Sergio Brown which is a inexperienced mistakes by him although the Referee help out too because the ball is not catch-able. Fans relaxed it happen a lot in NFL. Look at Philip Rivers he is struggling. That in NFl for you.

If they don't win next week, they might not be in the playoff. It is a divison game and it is very important for the Pats to gain their confidence back vs. big mouth Rex Ryan.

[QUOTE]Wow. Horrible game. 2nd horrible loss in a row. The D played much better, but the corner on man converage stinks. They never face the ball, ever. Pass interference all day long when this happens.  Brady and the offense are putrid. The play calling lacks any punch. I am not sure Brady is 100%. And I think not having any deep threat keeps this team a 500 team. Coach BB is failing the Pats and the fans. And if they don't beat the JETS, they may not make the playoffs this year.  Do you think it is a must win against the JETS for this realing team of Pats?
