no Wilfork MAyo or Talib would mean the leaders on each phase of D. We cant afford them being hurt. its tough enough w/o Vince these guys hopefully are good

Somehow the D just keeps looking solid.

BB has been simply brilliant as GM and coach.  Brilliant.

Particularly as a coach of the defense this year. For the first time in a long time, a novice like me can see EXACTLY what the gameplan is on defense every week. More importantly, the players on defense have been doing an exceptional job of executing the gameplan, even with all the injuries.

Even against two potent offenses like the Falcons and the Saints, the gameplans have worked. Yes, these teams were able to make a run at the end against our D, but it's almost impossible to shut down an NFL offense for four quarters. Kudos to BB for getting the defense off to an impressive start in every game this season.

It will be very tough. I thought we would be in trouble missing vw and Kelly, but vellano, forston and jones filled in well. In fact, they played very well making some impact plays. I think Talib is the bigger loss. a shutdown corner like that, truly a guy you can assign to a teams best receiving weapon and just leave there is valuable.

Talibs play on graham was one to be remembered. He played him tight and physical..no easy task for a guy giving up 6 inches and 50 lbs or more.

Maybe the offense can step up and take some pressure off the defense for the next few weeks. the o really needed a game like yesterday, Brady included. It does wonders for confidence.

Talib is one of the more injury prone corners in football, that hip injury has happened to him before. I heard on weei earlier in the year that Talib (during the AFC championship game) tore his groin off the bone...I would expect him to be out at least a month. The key is getting him back and not having it happen again - this is why you can't sign this guy to a 5 year contract.

Agree as coach. Tremendous job all year except the Bengals game. Grades an A- imo.

Grades a C+ as GM imo...
