    Injury report?

What is the injury report for?  What does it mean?  BB has seemed to take a lot of criticism over the years for not completing the reports properly and here we have Brett Favre ruled "out" all week and then an hour or two before the game they rule him back in?????  Was there an exception to the rule for Mr. Drama Queen?  How can the NFL now enforce any of the rules for the injury report after this?

Drama Queen?....not Brett....we're just lucky we don't have to suffer through "As Brett's World Turns"...or "The Young and the Restless Brett Favre" and "Brett Favre, The Guiding Light"...

Are you sure about that???  Somehow, "IF" he is truly done playing, I think he will somehow find a way to still be the center of attention next season.  No way is the Brett saga over.  His football career may be, but he will keep himself in the news!!!

    Re: Injury report?

I like to blast Brett Favre as much as anyone, and there have been some rumblings that Goodell is "looking into" changes to the injury report to eliminate certain teams (cough, cough) making a mockery of it (http://www.suntimes.com/sports/football/bears/2908813-452/nfl-injury-favre-report-bears.html), but as of this morning, NFL.com has this to say about the injury report:

"The preliminary injury report comes out Thursday, and progresses up until 90 minutes before each kickoff, when teams are required to list any inactive players, and report player's final injury status."

    Re: Injury report?

It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood.

Got about six inches of snow yesterday with some nice freezing rain on top of it last night.

    Fun.

But today it's a relatively balmy 17 degrees with virtually no wind. Much more seasonable than the sub-zero temperatures we've been having.

    It's practically springtime.

But if you're coming, get here soon . . .   it's gonna snow again on Thursday.

    Cool

    Re: Injury report?

Seriously you guys, can you imagine if BB put Tom Brady on the injury report Thursday, Friday and Saturday saying he was "out" and then on Sunday afternoon announcing that Brady had recovered from whatever ailment and started the game!!  It would not happen!!  And, they would probably get a million $ fine!!!
