Is Bill's Son being Groomed as his Successor?

I could see Bill coaching for another 5-7 years then having him take over.....

I could see Bill keeping the GM role.....

    How sweet would that be!!

BB was born to be a coach. I heard that when he was a little kid he used to study game film for hours. Another guy who played high school football with BB said that he wasn't the best player but always knew what everyone on the field was supposed to do and would direct them from his safety position.  We are very lucky to have him here.

I imagine if he decides to coach he'll have to travel elsewhere and earn his stripes in the many different coaching capacities that are out there. What does he do for the pats? And how old is he? If Belichick leaves in five years, the kid will be too young for a serious coaching position, but being the son of Belichick will sure help his career.

What about McDaniel's as head coach and Belichick JR at defensive coordinator...?

What makes you think his kid can coach? Just because he's a Belichick, it doesn't mean he's as good as THE Belichick.

I don't want someone getting a job just because his old man had it, he needs to earn it.
