IS NY CURSED RIGHT NOW?.. HOW PATS & THE BIG 3 GOT THEIR MOJO!

with pats destruction and exposing of the NY fraud jets, the bruins beating on the rangers and islanders, the sawx winning the off-season paper war with the yanks (they are now the ones reduced to looking for gems in the garbage cans), and the celts winning last night in NY on a night the knicks were prioritizing and like jets couldnt stop yapping about... plus, with 2 sports stations exploding on the nation's stage (#1 is WEEI and the sports hub is pushing it big time)...
this could truly be the golden age of Boston sports for celts, sox and pats. was thinking it was the last decade. this one looks even brighter. the celts should be there, bruins, sox and of course, our PATS! all 3 could legitimately bring in rings in the next calendar year! why is this? i believe a big part of it started with mr. kraft and his organizational coherence then reinforced by the hiring and execution of me. belichick and 2001. he brought pride to the region, and tapped into the hard work ethic of the region. cant call the celts underdogs when they have HOF'rs/all-stars at almost every position but they bring their lunch pails every day and do their best when the chips are low. they are what every fanbase would like their superstars to be. heard some station comparing larry bird to tom brady today as well as rondo and brady in terms of who is the better passer. pierce is more like the trash-talking larry bird in his capacity to yap and go out there and rub it in the other team's face without coming across as obnoxious.
the parallels are so obvious. all 3 have great owners, great GMs and coaches and hard nosed players. also like how all 4 esp the big 3 are all close and regularly interact with each other. doc rivers has talked with the pats, bel has been invited to talk with the celts, the owners all hang together. the same with the sox and pats and the sox with celts. remember when garnett was out there throwing out a pitch in his first day in beantown? same with key soxers being shown and interviewed on celts tv. i love the synergy. i think it helps with the competitive environment. it makes all 4 have to compete in order to enjoy market share. the region does not accept slackers. no doubt the pats and celts winning forced the sox to lose some advertising dollars and viewers, which in turn forced them to make a splash this off-season to make sure they do not become a far 2nd to the pats. the big 3 must consistently win and be exciting to stay relevant...
celts though have by far the most personality of the big 3. the coach is a great interview. shaq is one of a kind. pierce, allen and garnett are all recognized stars. rondo and baby the next big things. like how with all 3 the TEAM-collective takes precedence over the I of the individual. like how they all have learned to follow bel in their cryptic discussions of injuries and lockerroom issues. everything is in-house. no snitches, tight reign... media only knows what it is supposed to know and so forth. no TO-type team killers. as fans, life could not look better!
no other region really comes close. NY has lots of competition for other entertainment interests, boston is very parochial and limited. that makes things much more intense in the pressure cooker!
