Is there a single Sox fan who is an optimist?

Can't help but notice that the majority of all the non-Leon threads of doom and gloom are mostly Sox fans coming over for the day. I knew the Sox board was full of pessimists, but can it possibly be that not a single Sox fan is an optimist? I can't believe how many gloomy threads were created today by Sox fans. Does Kraft own the Yankees or something? Does anyone remember when things really were bad around here? We faced a very good defense today. Very good defenses can make good offenses, good WR's, good RB's, and good QB's look like chumps.
We do need to find an answer to a division foe with a good D, but geez, life is not falling apart.

I guess you didn't see my post on why this is Red Sox country.
The Sox have the guts of a platoon of marines, and the heart of
a pride of lions.
October is when the Red Sox turn up the heat.
Believe me, New York is praying they don't have to face them.
