    Key's to beating the Ravens

Fiirst and foremost,  take away the deep pass.  Flacco is an excellent deep ball thrower but he has problems throwing the intermediate routes.

As someone said in a previous post ....make him methodically work down the field.

The best way to beat the Ravens is to score more points than them. At least I think that should be enough.

Re: Key's to beating the Ravens

Line the offense up fast fast fast all day.  The Ravens are more physically exhausted than anyone can imagine after double overtime, and their defense will goof up royally if you never let them off the field.  Gimmick plays will often work.

Brady 6 yards over the middle all day, because Ray Lewis can't defend passes.  That's why he's retiring.  Worse, Lewis is limited because of his new finger injury.

Plug the middle.  Ray Rice runs behind a huge line, but he is no longer elusive and he just goes down.

Move the defensive backfield in five yards if the wind is in Baltimore's face.  The wind will be stiff.  Flacco can throw it long but the wind will knock it right down.

Get one guy loose on Flacco.  Joe Flacco plays lousy when under pressure.  Just for once I'd like to see Jake Bequette in there on third and ten, because Baltimore's big fat tackles are likely to have trouble with an around-the-end 9-technique speed specialist.

Odd notes:  Dennard made an all-rookie team at profootballfocus.com.  Chandler Jones and Hightower also made that team.  Nate Solder made their all-sophomore team.  Other teams have been avoiding throwing at Tavon Wilson.  With McCourty and Aqib Talib, perhaps BB has a defensive backfield at last.
