I don't normally criticize other posters but Not-A-Shot, you were out of line in your original post and you are not improving matters by perpetuating the dialog.
And anyone who actually knows anything about the Connecticut piece knows Kraft never intended to move the team here. It was a negotiating device - nothing more and nothing less and it is something that goes on in the business world all the time.
Sure. He just lied to us and told us he was moving the team in order to squeeze more public funds out of Mass despite his billions of dollars.
Leave the board, you phony. He's the only owner in the league to build his own stadium with his own money. He came from a position of weak leverage and built the "crown jewel of the NFL" (Tagliabue 2002) with his own money.
Kraft did not squeeze public funds out of the taxpayers, moron. Improving infrastructure around the area (which wasn't much) with some taxpayer money was a very mininmal investment when compared to the ROI on the community since the early 2000s. Restaurants. hotels, bars, jobs, etc have all been the reward of that new stadium he paid for by himself.
This information is well known to any Pats fan. Since you are not a Pats fan, but a dorky Bruinsn fan boy, it is now time for you to leave the board, loser.
Who are you or anyone else to tell someone to leave the bouard? Some of the posters on this board have created a dictatorship feel amongst themselves--some of you should have been politicians-you'd fit right in!
I didn't tell anyone to leave the board. I highlighted the points I agreed with. Perhaps you meant to reply to someone else?
