Louisville’s Long gets special attention from Patriots

Some great numbers were put up at Louisville’s pro day, but it was the player who didn’t do the workout drills that is especially worth monitoring. WR Scott Long had such a phenomenal NFL Scouting Combine that it was unnecessary for him to do the workouts again. He was a top performer for his posiiton in every category at the combine (the 40-yard dash, the bench press, the vertical jump, the broad jump, the three-cone drill, the short shuttle and the long shuttle). With that outstanding peformance in the books, Long was free to focus on position drills at the Cardinals’ pro day. He was worked out by Patriots wide receivers coach Chad O’Shea and is a good prospect.

With so many 6's and 7's why not. Worth taking a look at

He is a mid round sleeper. He plays well on the field. In the end, that is where it counts.
