    Manning and Dome Teams

This is a pretty good article from 2006 on Dome teams and their lack of success in the Playoffs. The facts are that Dome teams are not "battle" tested going outdoors, thus the importance of getting a bye. Archie should have thought about this before Peyton went to Indy. Guess it softened up Peyton.

Dome helped Manning statistically. Helped make him even richer. Helped build a mystic greater than the player - though he is one of the very best all time in any case.

    Re: Manning and Dome Teams

I agree Manning is still one of the best. However it does bring a different perspective into other players such as Luck. Another QB with a great career ahead of him. Will he follow the same path as Manning? Never reaching his potential in CHasmpioships because he gets soft in the Dome?
