You have to look at teams with very good Defenses, with extra rest.

Well, you could be right, but BB and a healthy offense with two weeks of prep has something to be said for it. Not having Gronk last SB made all the difference. Health is the top priority on the Pats right now.

My flash power ratings, out of 16 victories if the season started tomorrow:

    1    sea    13.9
    2    ne    12.9
    3    den    12.4
    4    sf    12.3

Note that sf may have had less to play for.

i said after last weeks game it proved n.e. were better than sf, and i believe that.

rankings are sort of irrelvent now.

the toughest challenge for us in the postseason are teams that can get a rush with 4. that steelers and giants will be out helps.

in afc, biggest challenge is denver

in afc theres the top defenses that can rush with 4 and a team like green bay who we may not be able to keep up on offense with on a good day for them.

atl, sf, sea,  denver all would be tough matchups

Along with the Pats over Houston and the perhaps meaningless Giants over Packers I would say this was one of three most impressive wins I saw this year. a thorough beat down.

    Re: NIners-Seahawks

Well, after watching last night's game, the only thing I can think of is that the Niners are not a resilient team.

Yes, they beat the Pats by getting a huge lead in the first half and almost losing that lead in the second. The pats made a game of it at least. The only thing the Niners did was give up more points.

So they can win with a huge lead and can't mount any type of comeback with a huge deficit.
