No Lead is Safe in 4th Quarter

We've blown yet another double digit lead in the 4th quarter.

We're up 13 in this game and lose to a rookie 5' 10" rookie QB.

Just exactly how much of a lead do we need in order to win a game? 17pts? 21pts?

Re: No Lead is Safe in 4th Quarter

Our defense is the same as last year - it stinks. It stunk last year, the year before, the year before that and this year. It stinks. It's the same thing over and over and over. It's ground hog day!

We apparently think that free agency is not a part of team building on that side of the ball. Trades? Forget it. We will waste another year of Brady's career on this "value" unit. Second round pick after second round selection on defense,,,most if not all busts! Dowling, Butler, Chung, Cunningham, Brace...all collosal busts. The only guy that isn't is Spikes and his off the field crap will keep him from resigning here.

This is the 4th game since the last Super Bowl that the Patriots have blown in the 4th Quarter.

I blame coaching. Including the Super Bowl Patriots are 3 wins 4 losses

No lead ? The 6-14 points the Pats pissed away earlier in the game certainly could have salted away a win. But, I do know where you're coming from - The gameplan is flawed.

Is this what happens to post Superbowl losers ? Do they just lose their collective minds ?
