    Re: Patriots cuts tracker

is it one or two more? i believe its really 2 more, as gronk is going to be activated (since he currently doesnt count against the 53 on pup)....

youd think that the beat writers would realize that...

so expect two more cuts, maybe more to get under 53, and youve got to expect them to be activce on the waiver wire for DL

That surprises me too.  But you never know with Belichick.

Kline?   WOW.  Stunned with that one. Who is the other OL?  Cannon and Connolly with Svitek. That's only 7.

Do they like McDonald's brother? Odd. Maybe they can add him to PS?

BB does not mess around with contracts. Surprised he did it with Mesko, but Mesko must have been asking for too much and not budging.

MIildly surprised at Francis and Cunningham since they are so thin at DT.  Forston, not a surprise.

Anyone think they have someone in mind at NT/DT who they think is going to get cut elsewhere, or maybe a trade?

It's clear Rusty.  Just like you were saying about Green Bay yesterday.  When a team sinks to messing with their kickers' contracts, they must be in cap hell.

I think we are seeing the early ramifications of the murderers 7.5 mil cap hit next year. Cutting Mesko to save 1.1 mil and having Hooman take a pay cut. Sad reality.

Why is Bequette still here? Odd. He hasn't looked good, can't play DT, can't set the edge, can't rush the passer.

    Strange.

Queenie, remember that time (about 5 minutes ago) you said that "run first" teams are teams that pass the ball more than they run the ball?  That was awesome!
