    Patriots name for pet?

hey all, ill be getting a third ferret soon, and i am trying to come up with a patriots player to name him after.  the two we have now are girls.  one is named tessie after the redsox rally song, the other is aussie cuz my girlfriend picked it.

anyway, this one is a boy, and its my turn to name it.  unfortunatly a friend of mine already named his ferret bruschi, and im saving flutie for when i get a dog.  any ideas?

I wouldn't waste a good Patriots name on a dam ferret! Save the good names for real pets like dogs, not a large rodent-like animal (yes, i know they are NOT memebers of the rodent family)!  I would name a ferret Rex.

If it's a back-up ferret, you could name it Zolak.

    Re: Patriots name for pet?

im guessing based on alot of your responses that you have never spent any time around a ferret.  they tend to have more personality than a cat or dog, and are one of the simplist animials to care for.  many people also dont like them because they think they smell, which is only the  case when the owners arent properly caring for them.

i love mosi for a name, hoody is great, and krafty is pretty cool too. logan i like, but odds are he wont be around for long. zolak is pretty cool too

i have known people that had them before me, but they treated them like a caged animal (ie rat, mouse, gerbil) so i always thought thats what they were.  my girlfriend got one first, then when i moved in with her we got another. they are as playful as kittens their whole lives, and they love you like a dog does.

smells can be managed by bathing once a month (not more, you can damage their skin), cleaning out their litter box (weekly), and by keeping your house clean.  they will get into EVERYTHING tho, so make sure you baracade places like under the fridge, stove, and holes in a closet or under cabinets.  they are very good problem solvers, so make sure you think of every angle

they are very possesive animals and will find places around the house to stash things theyve taken as their own.  usually its toys that weve gotten them, but they like to steal things like keys, bags of weed, anything rubbery.

they are very loving and playful, and will bond with other animals in your home (cats and dogs will not usually attack them because they will recognize they ferrets as fellow preditors). i have brought them to friends houses before and they have gotten along fine with cats, a dog, and a giant lizard (although i dont think the lizard liked them too much).

hope you look into getting one, they are great pets!
