the straw that broke this defenses back was mayo. Just not the same or even close without vw, Kelly, mayo, Dennard.

They got to get off the field on 3 rd down. What are the panthers 3rd down conversion rate in this game? 100%?

Ninkovich and Jones with mega-blunders on 3rd down which allowed Newton to extend the drive. Bad defense, bad fundamentals, and the result in a 7-point deficit on the road against a solid defense. Not going to be easy to come back...

Wilfork and Kelly out.  Doing pretty good for backups.

NE needs to accelerate the pace. The way Carolina is holding the football, they may have only a couple more chances to come back and tie or get a lead.

Would it suffice it to say those key players missing from the D has some sort of impact?  The new bodies are not steppin up are they?
Wilfork really can't be replaced.

I dont think that was intentional.  Cannon rolled over and leg came up.  He didn't follow through with leg.
Totally disagree - I'm not saying he was trying to end the guy's career and send him off on a cart, but he most certainly leg whipped him after he got beat.

I am just telling you....They will not call it.  I know it's frustrating, but there is nothing you or I can do.

    Goodell wants parity.

    exactly - smirk.

Big words for a guy whose team purposely tanked a season to draft luck.

there's no room for error in a game like this.   both teams mounting long, clock-killing drives.

Need to go no-huddle. Not only will it help with on-field performance, but it will conserve the clock, which is necessary given how the Panthers are holding the ball and milking the clock.

It's a long term problem, but I have no issue with pressuring the player. Put the onus on the player.

I would like to see some nio huddle. Surprised it hasn't happened.
