    Pats opponents for 2010

    from ESPN.com:

With the Patriots solidifying their spot atop the AFC East, their 2010 opponents can now be finalized.

As part of the NFL's rotating schedule format, 14 of the 16 opponents are known in advance. The remaining two are based on where a team finishes, and in 2010, the Patriots will host the AFC South team which finished in the same spot in the standings, while visiting the AFC West team which finished in the same spot in the standings.

So the Patriots will host the Colts, and visit the Chargers.

Home 2010 opponents: Colts, Ravens, Bengals, Packers, Vikings, Bills, Dolphins, Jets
Road 2010 opponents: Chargers, Browns, Steelers, Bears, Lions, Bills, Dolphins, Jets

Pretty brutal schedule if you ask me. I guess the good thing is they get the Colts, Ravens, Bengals, Packers and Vikings at home. Bears, Lions and Browns on the road. If the Jets and Ravens make the playoffs, they would play 8 playoff teams. but 6 of those games would be at home.

Peyton Manning,Carson Palmer,Aaron Rogers,Brett Farve (maybe),Phillip Rivers, Ben Roethelisberger, .That's a handfull. We REALLY need to improve our pass rush in the offseason to better our chances against these guys.

Oh yeah, Steelers, Favre (should he choose to un-retire again) its pay back time.

Here is to the 2010 Pats. May BB acquire the talent he needs to finish what was started in and left unfinished in 2007 (thanks to sh!tty play from "Door" Matt Light, Nick Kazcualty along with a sawed-off little runt named Ellis "Toast" Hobbs.

Lets go, 2010 Pats. May the ultimate achievement of 19-0 be acquired!

I am sure the league will nicely give us Minn and colts in September, just to take away any advantage home field will give us.

Probably no cap next year either. Should be a very interesting offseason for free agency.

Goodell will impose a special rule that all teams that have Pat in them have a special cap and cannot add FAs to their team.  And any team with a QB who's name has Man in it gets bonus money to spend on FAs. LOL!!!

Pretty tough schedule. Lots of primetime potential.
By the way Lions on the road, looks like the thangsgiving game.
And the Buffalo game on the road may be a game in Toronto, they played the fins last year and the jets this year in Toronto.

New information coming from the league....

Commissioner Polian errr We mean the NFL Commissioner has decided that the 2010 New England Patriots will play 8 Road Games, 4 at Indianapolis and will host 8 International games in a row on all 7 of the continents.  This in a effort to ensure league parity.

Looking forward to when we see some dates put to these teams. Would like to see us get the Colts and Vikings in December. Colts guessing will be middle of the year like the past 5 years. Get a surprise snow storm like we did against the Titans this year for that game would be sweet!

I hope the Pats don't play the Lions on Thanksgiving. I live in Michigan and I am making plans to go that game. Thanksgiving and the home opener are the only tough tickets at Ford Field. An early October game would be nice.

what if? the JETS will make the playoffs for bengals are going to lie down for them in NY even worse than the colts did. if ravens cant beat a raiders team more concerned about their monday tee times than playing, the coach should be fired on the spot! most of these teams will fall off the map as is usually the case by next year. pats should be even better., brady certainly will be as he will be about 2 years removed from his surgery.
