Tough call pcmIV but I think I might lean towards Stacy also. But what do I know, I am in the consolation bracket of our league this season, lol!! It might be best to go the opposite of my suggerstion, haha!
Just a few notes on these two players going into this week, maybe something here will help you decide. Let us know who you end up taking. Good luck, take home that money!!!
Le'Veon Bell rushed 15 times for 61 yards and caught five passes for 19 yards in Sunday's Week 14 loss to the Dolphins.
Coming off a concussion, Bell showed no ill-effects. His trademark patience was on display as he picked his way through holes and was a factor in the screen game once again. In terms of volume, there are only a handful of safer running back plays in the entire league. Bell has at least 20 touches in six straight games and will be a fine RB2 against the Bengals in Week 15.
It's a tough matchup for the rookie, as Cincy gives up the 5th-fewest Fantasy points (12.8 per game) to opposing running backs. The Bengals allow 3.8 yards per carry and have not allowed a running back to score since Week 4. In fact, running backs have more lost fumbles (4) than touchdowns (3) vs. Cincy.
The great thing about Bell, other than his talent, is his workload. He's gotten at least 20 touches in six straight games and has no real competition for carries. Bell has 30 catches over his last seven games.
He's a solid RB2 despite the matchup.
Stacy didn't have his strongest game of the year last week, rushing for just 25 yards, but he did find the end zone one time which helped his overall fantasy day. However, in the four games prior, he is averaging 87 yards per game and has four touchdowns.
It should be another good week for Stacy as he goes up against the Saints and their 21st ranked run defense. The Saints are giving up 114.3 rushing yards per game and have given up nine brushing touchdowns this season.
(12/11/13) Fantasy owners of Rams featured back Zac Stacy should not be alarmed at his dramatic drop in production in Week 14. He should bounce back quite well Sunday against New Orleans. Stacy should receive plenty of carries against the Saints as the Rams try to keep the ball away from their explosive offense. Two of the three CBSSports.com senior Fantasy writers rank him 13th and 15th among NFL backs this week. He is a strong No. 2 or flex option, particularly in deeper leagues.
