Prediction: Brady shall win another SB

Or maybe even more, over the next 5 yrs. However, it would help if BB left the drafting to someone else. Since that is unlikely, I'm sure he knows he needs secondary & WR help.

And this is more of a "Guess" of course.

absoutely agree! we need to replace the midget choke artist WW, find a true outside receiver, let the D gorw up one more year, and go get it. This is still the greatest Org in the NFL no matter what the nut jobs out there say the day after dissappointment. Grow the F up folks!!!

All you have to do is look at Tom's postseason w-l record of 8-7 since the 2004 SB win to basically have your answer to whether or not Tom will win another SB. The Patriots have blown too many glorious opportunities win multiple titles e.g. 21-3 lead to the Colts, 18-0 to Giants, upset by the Jets, another loss to Giants etc. Tom and the Pats have left 5 SB titles including this year on the field! I was being generous as I didn't include the 05 & 09 seasons as I didn't think they were good enough to win!

Brady was hurt tremedously by his 10 - 0 start in his playoff career.  Since then, fans have placed a bar so high he will never achieve that again.  Peyton Manning is 9 - 11, Brady 17 - 7, the last few years not withstanding.  It is not a "Tom" think, the TEAM needs to get better around him.

    Yeah, mebbe.....or not, lol.

The team as it stands will win many games; as reflected by their regular season wins since 2004. The offense continues to carry the team, so, it goes as the OL and Brady goes. If the offense can continue to be in the top 5 - and the defense can become playmakers again and end up; lets say in the top 10 - then there's a good chance for a few more rings before Brady retires.

    huh??

I think what you're trying to say is that fans have unrealistic expectations because of his early success. But let's get real, Brady has had his ups and downs since 2004 - which means either Brady isn't as good as people say he is and/or his supporting team isn't what it used to be.

By "hurt", I meant that start has fans thinking it should not have ended.  What Brady needs is other players have to step up, too.

The problem with this opening post reveals a problem with the Patriot organization.

Brady didn't "win" the first 3 superbowls.  They had great teams and great defenses - and Brady was told don't screw this up come playoff time.

Once we became the Brady Bunch it turned into a Colts-like soft team.

With a weaker supporting cast, 2007 excepted. And that was his unmatched "49 TD" year, so it was still more him than anyone else (& a Randy Moss in his prime, Assante Samuel, Vrabel, Light, etc)

True, except the QB is the implied leader; except for Ray Lewis, and don't get me started there.

Ah Casper!! The Brady Bunch & the soft Colts analagy--how aprapos!! Looks like since the b**ch boy dumped Bridget for Gisele(Queen B**ch) he's NEVER going to win it again--she brings bad Kharma---and EVERYONE is tired of Belichicks SORE LOSER mentality. Unfortunately, they will be back next year because that division is so bad...but soon enough the Patriot playoff run will be over...

Plain and simple: Defense WINS Championships. Sadly, this had not been adequately rebuilt over the last 5 years. Back to the drawing board but we need to shore up the back end in a huge way. Also, where the hell was the pass rush last night!!?? The window is still open for 3-4 more years but we must have improvements on defense and not put everything on Brady's shoulders. Lastly, Brady was awful yesterday from his decision making, body language, leadership, and all the way down. It is never a good sign to walk with your head down looking freezing cold and miserable! He should have been laying into his guys on the sideline!
