Actually, it is a smart move by RR, signing him to the practice squad. Very low risk, only 6,000 a week. Lots of upside if Rex can integrate him into his system and somehow keep him healthy.

Rex is learning from BB about value!

You know that Rex is not the GM, right?

I bet they just want to grill him for info about the Pats very tough 3rd down D for that big game.   Oh, nevermind.

Would suck if he was able to stay healthy and then be the CB I always thought he could be.

But I would not put any money on that.

I just heard on WFAN the Jets IR'ed him.  Turns out he sustained a High Ankle Sprain getting out of his car, at the practice facility, this morning.

They've got Cromartie, Milliner, and Kyle Wilson, among others. I think this was merely a depth signing...

Who am I kidding. The Pats and Jets just love each other's sloppy seconds.

Let's hope Ras-I at 33 really was a terrible pick by Belichick.  Last thing we'd want is for BB to prove a brilliant drafter now!

I will say, though, Darius Butler seems okay too now that he's a Colt.

If he can get healthy then yeah, good depth.  Until then I guess he will just be giving out the Patriots secrets.  Rex will tickle Ras-I's feet and get all the info from him.

No kidding, right.  That is exactly what Leon Washington, Mathew Mulligan & Marquise Cole said.  Imagine, the Jets have already played in two superbowl this year.  That's amazing.  According to Patriot fans there has already been 7 this year.

Butler is being used differently as a Colt.  The Colts' defensive philosophy is quite different than that of the PATS, and thier CB's use is an entirely different approach than the PATS in the overall scheme of things.  Sometimes a player's skillset fits better with one team's approach than that of another's.
