Rex and his comments on NFL network

Rex Ryan is on the NFL network right now. In the opening of the show they showed him talking about BB and he said to be honest we are probably going to kick their rears and said they plan on bringing the SB trophey home.

    Your thoughts guys.

I hope our young, virgin defense is watching it and getting mad, because if there is no pass rush, he may be right.

Don't know what so think anymore.  If he pulls it off he'll go down in the history books as the most cocky coach to ever back up his words.  He's more likely to simply look like a windbag.  I can't wait to see how it unfolds.

and Bugs Bunny and Leon (Hess) actually have something in common.  They are both figments of someone's imagination.  Now let's pretend he's a real Jets fan...

It will be very interesting to hear the excuses when all the bravado goes crashing down as the season progresses.  They haven't shown in pre-season they are the team they boast about daily.  If they were THAT good, they would have gone 4 - 0 in the pre-season or, at the least, looked darned competitive every game.  Did they?  I don't think so.

These jets fans r pretty funny... buying into all of rex' hype lol...
The more rex talks, the deeper a hole he's digging... Remember they hyped up revis last yr and he held out till this week lol.
Its quite funny to watch... Pats r gonna demolish the so called #1 best defense in the league... And not to mention the #1 defense in the league might actually mean something if they didnt have the #32 offense in the league..

The #1 defense? LOL. That's what fat old Rex will need when he denies stating the Jests would win the SB. Maybe he will hire OJ's lawyers to defend him. How do Jests fans live with themselves since the Jests got busted on film illegally taping also? Be a man & admit they got away with it. The Jests will be the Jests. It is their destiny old fool Leon. History will repeat itself.

Ryan obviously likes to brag....that can be good or bad. It can be good if it motivates his team and develops a hard-nose attitude throughout the Jets team. It can be bad if the team can't respond to the added pressure from the head coach and media.

That being said, we tend to split games with the Jets - so, unfortunately, Ryan prolly has a 50-50 chance in being "right".

Jets should be easy, stop the run.

    Period!

The Jets were a .500 team last year with the best D and running game in the league. Just for SAG, let's assume they keep the #1 D.
They won't have the best running game again this year so the only way they can make up the difference is to use the passing game and that means Sanchez has to grow up, take the danger level pre-school arm band off and start acting like a grown up QB.

Stop the run and this house of cards falls to where it should be. A .500 team

    Sam-Ad,
I think you are right the Pats need to stop the run, but they did not look good versus the Giants or Rams.

Cinci will be a good test before facing the Jests....

3 more days and we get to take on the team that many predict will represent the AFC.  3 more days untill we get our first test of the season agains flacco, bolden and rice.  3 days until LT has people saying that he cannot go a whole season.  I wish we opened against the pats, not because they are a weaker team, but because I want you guys to see what we have compared to your team.

The "NOT YETS"  aka Jets seem to have everyone swooning but Sam-Adams
puts things things into perspective very nicely.

They're a .500 club looking to go from the Outhouse to the Penthouse with a
less than scintillating QB and quite possibly a running game less stellar than a year ago.

OK. great D but the object of the game is  STILL to put points on the board.

Let's see how they do against the Ravens who also have a dominating D as well...

Oh and speaking of "D's" ...Mark the Depends are in aisle 3...

Not to mention threejack the Yets have ticked off Ray Lewis whom they must face on Monday. Well they have ticked off Lewis and most of the other teams in the NFL with all the yapping. They need to shut their mouths but with Rex they don't know how. Thanks goodness BB doesn't act like that. Oh wait he is a professional.

Is any Jets fan embarrassed?  Apparently not, which speaks volumes.

    Hey Good Morning Gang!

What a great day day to be alive!Football season is upon us and the NY Jets lead by their Swaggerlicious Head Coach Rex Ryan are gunning for the Super Bowl this year!

All the pieces are in place for a great run.The #1 Defense in the NFL and the young gunslinger Mark Sanchez at the helm for the Offense. So hold on to your hats folks it's going to be fun!

So I see Brady got paid. That surprises me really with him missing the WHOLE off season workout program with his teammates. All that time spent playing wet nurse to his kid while picking out which paint combo would look best in the guest bedrooms of his new West Coast mansion could have spent working on the timing with his new Receiving Corp which by the way looks like another teams practice squad.

So gang any big plans for the weekend?
Quick question-How many of you boston sports fans have a tacky team logo of every team in the area on every vehicle that you own?

Not as embarrassing as having a team lie down for you in order for you to make the playoffs and then pretend you are winning the SB the next year because of that stupendous achievement.

    lol

And there is nothing to be embarrassed about by simply having a cameraman in the wrong spot within the rule.  It's a formality that wasn't followed.  Whoppdee-doo.

[QUOTE]That Cavalier attitude about Spygate only exits in NE ,that's a fact that all of you,the horribly accented need to know and understand. The way the rest of the Sporting World outside of NE sees it is like this: BB was told not to cheat*.The arrogant and pompous a hole that he is went ahead and cheated** anyway.Got caught cheating*** and was fined and lost a Draft choice because of cheating****.I my opinion they should have made an example of him and thrown him out of the League. Many people outside the NE area feel the same exact way. Didn't you ever see the South Park Episode regarding Spygate? It's a must see for every pats fan. Some legacy BB has there. He just can't win anything on the up and up.
