    Roscoe Parrish?

The Bills are shopping WR/PR Roscoe Parrish, for a low round draft pick this would be a nice pickup for the Pats.  Besides Ellis Hobbs, the Pats could use another solid return guy.  I certainly hope the Pats aren't going to rely on Matt Slater this year as a backup.

    Scouting Report

    Assets
    • Outstanding return man. Bursts from a standing start and makes defenders miss. Excels on hitch and comeback routes, where he can catch the ball in front of a defender, make one move, and be gone. Uses his speed to get separation on shorter routes.
    Flaws
    • Strictly a sidelines-to-hashmarks receiver. Inconsistent deep threat who will lose the ball in the air. Can disappear from the game and seems to have trouble playing in cold weather.
    Career Potential
    • Solid role player.

  5. Then again, J.P. Losman and Trent Edward don't help much.  With Brady he might be an all-pro.

    Re: Roscoe Parrish?

he wouldn't be a bad pickup if they got him cheap in terms of compensation. The Pats, BB, and Brady could do a lot of good with him on offense and he's always a special teams threat.

If Brady can make Deion Branch into a SB MVP I'm sure he can make Parrish look respectable. He could practice with Randy on his ball skills. And special teams playmakers are important. As long as the money is right. What is his contract number, anyone know?
