BB and Shanahan are tight, BB knew what he was getting and Shanahan knew what he was giving up. Albert is happy and here and will produce.

Takes a while to get a big man rolling!!

he's improving and will be a force. its unrealistic to think that he was going to go out and have 3 sacks in his first game back. people want to see him fail and jump on him any chance.

right now he's being double teamed, that alone is making an impact, freeing up other guys. his best, and this defenses best is yet to come. BB's best teams always featured a defense that would play better as the season wore on, playing their best in december and into the playoffs. this isn't the 2003 defense but it's much better than what the stats or the clowns on espn think.

i am sure that before that play he too had some doubts as to how disruptive he can still be given where he was the last two years. it just got scary for other teams and they may not know it yet, but that play took away all the doubt. he's going to get fitter, therefore better as the season progresses. what's even scarier for other teams is that plays like that tend to inspire teammates. With Brace and Deaderick coming back, that DL will be a lot for other teams to handle this season.

Thanks Gads- awesome point- brings it all home!In Response to So much for Haynesworth being "useless", check this out.:
[QUOTE]http://espn.go.com/blog/boston/new-england-patriots/post/_/id/4706760/breakdown-carters-second-sack Its a breakdown of Carter's second sack on Romo and how Albert Haynesworth drew a Triple team. The fact that he drew a triple team might not be impressive, the fact that he was effectively pushing that triple team back is. Useless? I don't think so... Like the article states, "For all the attention paid to his lack of statistical production, this really hammers home his value on the field." Its a great breakdown of the play and how a 3 man rush got to Romo.
