Some really good videos that pay homage to the greatest team EVER.

I follow this guy on youtube, and I think he makes really good videos about the New England Patriots that I think all of us as Pats' fans should check out.

I'm a big fan of the Steel Curtain Steelers.  They played tough defense, but also had some offensive firepower with Terry Bradshaw throwing to Lynn Swann.  They played physical defense with downfield muggings of receivers that would get them arrested today.

I also like the 1980's 49ers under Joe Montana with Jerry Rice.  They knew how to win football games.

My other major point is that I think both of those teams could compete and win in today's NFL (versus teams from the early days who weren't truly professionals because they had to work other jobs in the offseason).

The most underrated team of all time: the 1976 Patriots, who lost to the eventual Super Bowl champions (the '76 Raiders).  They ran for 3000+ yards behind perhaps the best left side of an offensive line in the history of the league (Leon Gray and John Hannah).  The Raiders' game-winning drive was prolonged by a dubious roughing the passer call (dubious by their standards - the league didn't buckle down until the past 10 years), and on behalf of my dad who's been a fan since 1960 and is still upset about that call, I make sure to remind every Raiders fan who ever complains about the Tuck Rule of this.

But I suppose if you define "team" as greater than the sum of its parts, the 2001 Patriots take the prize.  That team might not have even been in the upper half of the league in terms of talent, but still won it all.

Beginning of a dynasty clips remind me of how much I miss RBs who get yards after the first hit. Antowan Smith was Dillon-like.

The passing game will be good again. But other teams already know what to expect on critical downs.

    49Patriots and ALL:

GREAT finds 49...so here's mine.  I mean, although having zero to do with The New England Patriots, (The closest I can come is that The Movie's near the Revolutionary War-French-Indian, but who's counting).  BUT IF You ALL need an extra vid to get you "pumped up" like these good Pat's Vids do as well, and as a Pat's vid ALWAYS does for me, I strongly recommend that you take 6 minutes outta your days to watch the ending scene to this movie (even IF you already have 37 times like myself)...

Kinda makes you wanna buy an Indian gunstock war-club, take the Dolorean back in time, and just go postal (well, maybe it's just me).  Anyway Here's the vid to give you ALL that extra help to get you going before today's game (along with watching 49er's vids, You ALL should be goin' for day with this one).  IF the Link doesn't go through, I'll try again (IF not just manually type it in your web-browser):
