    Sophomores, FA & The Draft

We have a bunch of sophomores coming into their 2nd season that if you listen to BB, is where players tend to make the biggest leap.

With our defensive sophomores, Brace, Butler, Chung, McKenzie, Pryor, which guys(s) do you feel will make the biggest leap, and be the biggest contributors on the field in 2010. Can these same guys be counted on and how will it affect our approach to what's left in FA, plus what we do in the draft?

As far as sophmores go you left off Brandon Tate,Daryl Richards,Bussey,Orhrenberger.Plus I think you would have to call Crable a quasi Sophmore. As for FA's there will be others added to the present list after the draft. The Draft holds a whole new deck of cards for the Patriots to deal with.

BRACE DISAPPOINTED, LOOKED LOST AT TIMES. BUTLER WAS GIVEN ENOUGH PLAYING TIME TO SHOW HOW GREEN HE IS, OFTEN BEATEN, AND OUT OF POSITION. CHUNG- DID NOT IMPRESS FOR A #1 PICK. PERHAPS HE'S WEIGHTED
DOWN WITH ALL THOSE TATOOS HE GOT. SERIOUSLY-- STRANGE??? HE LOVES TO CELEBRATE TOO. AS A #1, A BUST. MCKENZIE HURT RIGHT AWAY-NO PLAYING TIME TO EVALUATE, BUT HEAR HE IS SPENDING LOTS OF TIME LOOKING AT FILM,ASKING QUESTIONS- A VERY GOOD SIGN, AT LEAST. PRYOR, IMPRESSED, A KEEPER.  A GOOD GUESS - MCKENZIE, JUST ON ATTITUDE ALONE.

Yep rookies often look lost and make lots of mistakes. Next year we'll see some improvement less mistakes and start finding out who has a NFL future and who better start looking for a new career.
