Nothing going on in Patriot Camp 101 so how's this for ya! Tiger Woods, will he be great again, will he play with a vengance, will he be toast? What say you, and stop bashing him because there isnt any one of you that didnt wish you could have been in his position, and im not talking about on his back with feet up!  Tongue out

Yeah...HHMMM...Well I couldnt care less , not one bit. Golf is not a sport , these losers are pathetic. They actually complained a couple years ago because a handicapped guy wanted to use a golf cart to get around , their a joke and so is golf. And Im sorry , but Woods doesnt impress me one bit! Im not saying hes not great at hitting a ball with a club , but seriously who has/is he beating? Really think about it , Mike Weir , Johnny Weir , Sergio , LOL cmon now! Nobody in todays game is any good , I mean Phil is clearly the best and hes average , middle of the pack when you look at his place in history. Id rather watch Golden Girls and that FOX Beddy White than spend one minute watching some D - Bag flip out because the crowd wasnt mute while he stroked his balls.

So Tiger has sex on his back with his feet in the air? Thats at the very least bad form. Tiger is a jerk and a slime and has always been a spoiled little brat out there cursing the gallery and tossing his clubs, he needs to go away. Oh and golf sux

Shouldn't this be under the Golf Forum? Oh wait, that would imply that  somehow Golf is now a sport.
second- seriously, people need to get a life, do any of us really care if Tiger has been screwing around? Isn't and shouldn't that be between him and his wife? Media stooges.

I don't think there's any doubt that Tiger will be a force on the PGA Tour again, but his image is shot. Tiger's flatline personality, his sometimes petulant behavior on the course and disdain for his colleagues has long been excused because he was perceived as "good for the game" (and for one other obvious reason). That's all over now.

Don't get me wrong. The people who promote the tour will still talk about Tiger as if he is a god on earth -- but the days when the casual fan swallows that line of bullsh*t are deep in the rear-view mirror and they ain't comin' back.

Sports break is right. Finally some admission that golf is not a sport.

And, no, I wouldn't want to be Tigger because he is a miserable excuse for a human being.

I would do a one time transfer from his accounts to mine though.

Other than that, of course he will shine again. He is a younger guy playing a fat old guys game. He doesn't even have to cheat.

Oh, wait - he does cheat. He is taking HGH. Of course, that is like taking The Clear to type faster, but it is still illegal and against the "rules" of "golf".

Why on Earth is anyone talking about golf on a football forum? Football is one of the most fun sports to watch and golf is the most boring sport to watch what on earth makes people want to watch that sport let alone talk about it?

Tiger will be great again. He is a great golfer and a bad husband. In order for Tiger to be affected on the golf course he would have to have a conscience which he doesn't. I'm still looking forward to him coming back because Mickleson eats a root this year so far and we're getting the second stringers winning a lot of tournament.

Naw. You get it over the border - in Canada.

Actually, in Tiger's case, the border comes to him in the form of Dr. Anthony Galea.

Why the Tiger haters? if you believed Tiger was some kind of god because of the marketing creation, whose fault is that? remember what Brady said, 'nobody said you had to be a saint to be a Patriot'. Gee, wonder why he said that. Sure Bellichick agrees. Tiger cheated serially, but no rape, murder, domestic violence, child abuse. If you lined up every pro athlete and eliminated those that indulged in the ever-present temptation, easily 80% of your teams would be gone in a flash. Back to the central question - I'm going to assume this public immasculation of Tiger since it hasn't killed him will only make him stronger. The guys who made statements disparaging Tiger, like Ernie Els, my guess is Tiger wants to publicly humiliate him.  I expect a more focused, driven, relentless and ruthless athlete who will now seek to destroy the record books for all time. (Don't expect interviews or lollipops.)

I never could stand him mainly because he has been forced upon us in ads (and hawking really crappy cars), but he accepted the endorsement deals, so he is complicit. He is like the Peyton Manning of golf, but less likable.

Plus, he keeps golf in the sports headlines which serves to remind me that there are no real sports going on during that particular stretch of the yearor that particular day. Whenever I see a golf story as the lead, I know that football is months away and that reminder is bothersome.

Seriously, this is a forum focused on the Pats, but most people who aren't sitting on sticks realize that you can converse about anything.

    Tip Of The Day:

If the title of the thread looks like something you aren't interested in, then don't read it. If you do read it, then you were probably interested in the first place so just stifle yourself about commenting on the people who are actually posting. They were interested AND had something to add.

Re: Sports Break....Will Tiger Be Great again, or is he a Victim of himself never to shine again?

Tiger is a pompous jerk.  He is a spoiled brat, by his own admission.  He used the "sex addict" excuse to get folks to think he was "sick", like a drug addict or alcoholic.  Then he can be viewed in a sympathetic light. 4 weeks in a clinic is going to cure him?  Right.  He is hiring all kinds of people to work on his image so he can get his endorsers back.  He recently hired Ari Fleisher, who was the communications guy for George Bush.  Gee..I wonder why? He is trying to remake his image and create a "new him" so the endorsers will think he can draw in the crowds again.  How pathetic.  More pathetic is that his gold digging wife stayed with him, and accepted that he exposed her to all kinds of diseases with his free sex with strippers and porn stars, as well as others.
Do you think Eli would even look at Tiger Woods if he wasn't rich and famous? If he were an average Joe she wouldn't glance in his direction.

In one word, why I give a hoot about Tiger...  "GOLF"!

Nothing else.  Don't care for his private life, do not care to emulate him other than being a real good golfer.  Like all "athletes", and I will include him in that group, who earn a living playing some sort of game, we have that element of jealousy.  We'd all like to earn millions playing something.  Across the entire sports world there are folks like Tiger, who off the playing field, will totally blow us away with their behavior.  We can all name names.  But, we still watch them when they play to be amazed at their gift which we wish we had.
