yeah im seeing little nuances either way.

for soem reaosn what i know of baltimore is prevailing on me.

If they play like they did last night I dont see how they can be beat. Too many options on offense and the Defense was terrific. houston or baltimore....really, they both look average. Hard to believe Baltimore is a 2 seed. No way either can beat this New England TEAM at home.

    correct.
It's a playoff game, kick and go up by a touchdown against a team that's crushing in yardage so far.  At any time the Texans will turn it into points.

Neither of these teams look very good - pretty sour offenses.

Pats will be prohibitive favorites no matter who survives this game.

they dont look good cause tehy are playing against 2 of teh best d's in teh nfl. i think you are missing that.
we do not have a top defense.

Either match up for next week will be hard. Both teams are good or they would not be here. It's true the Pats are more familiar with the Ravens and Flacco but that works both ways. The Ravens know the Pats well also. The Texans on the other hand have never seen this current Pats squad and i am not that worried about the Pats not knowing a rookie QB. Teams have been able to run on the Pats but i do not believe you can score at the Pats pace being one dimensional (unless that dimension involves a great QB passing the ball). while i think the Pats should be favored against both I believe the Texans would be easier to beat. The Ravens should be killing the Texans but they keep wasting great field position. The Pats would be demolishing both the way they played last night (unfortunately their is no guarentee the Pats will play like that again next week).

[QUOTE]I still say Houston is playing a good road game.  The only mistake was that punt fumble.   Seriously, if the Pats were at home and we got a gift TD from a punt fumble and their kickers missed a FG, I'd be concerned.

I agree with you strongly. I think the Texans are playing a great game on the road with their 3rd string QB and they may very well still win it as I write this.
