no, i don't think the failure to score on the last drive with 56 seconds on the game clock means much. The odds are more likely than not that the team does NOT score a TD.

still need a deep threat though....wouldn't have come down to that if we hadn't played so careful.

If Gronk was 100%, I dont think we are having this discussion.

Yes, but a deep would have made the defense play deeper and would  have opened up more holes on 1st, 2nd, and 3rd down.

..... and a running game that is EFFECTIVE!  What killed to Pats on the next to last possession was the 1st down run that was stuffed for a 1 yard loss at midfield.  That changed the tone of that drive!

Probably true, but the offense is too dependent on too few players. We need options when one guy gets hurt or has a bad day.  This is an offense that relies far too heavily on three receivers.

A nice addition but if Gronk was 100% I think he makes the play on that ball in the endzone and we are beside ourselves with glee right now.

Yes we could use a deep threat but Welker was open and Brady threw the ball behing him.

True, although not sure changed tone of whole game. Negative plays always hurt , at any time.

Mankins whiffed and Polite ran right by Canty also.
