Re: The O Line And Defense

So when they lose it's all Brady's fault and has nothing to do with the O line or the D, but when they win it's all about the O line and the D?

    Okay then.

C'mon guys.  Just stop with the "Brady agrument."  It got stale years ago.  The truth is that you are both right.  The O-line & Defense played a very good game yesterday, and Brady hung in there against a tough pass rush, with no Gronk, and delivered a terriffic game.  This one was much more lopsided than the final score indicated, as our Defense went to prevent in the 4th qtr and game them a couple freebies.  Also, if our kickoff coverage team wouldn't have been horrible yesterday our Defense would have looked even stronger.

Brady was moving like a surgeon in the pocket also....kept stepping up or to the side at the right moment....no happy feet. Hope he can continue to get the blocking by the line in the Ravens game...

Right junior. The offense puts up 41 points, but the D gets your praise. Learn the game.

I don't see it as a zero sum game, as in, if you praise the O line and the D you are giving Brady short shrift.  Nor do I see praising Brady giving short shrift to either the O line or the D. I see yesterday's win as a total team victory with perhaps special teams not carrying quite as much water as the O and the D.

Re: The O Line And Defense

looked like Denver was being very successful with the runs and the short passes....making Ray Lewis run to the sidelines alot......Their defense and that silly safety mistake cost them the game
