Re: The Patriots jinx will continue

first off 'papa john' last SB win was Feb. 6 2005.... idiot.

second, WEssie has had his worst season in 4-5 years with Peyton this year statistically speaking..... so thats invalid.

Third, yes Tom and the Pats did choke SB 46 in VARIOUS ways. Tom's safety, Welkie's drop, TB's pick, Nink's offsides. and the D couldnt muster up ONE stop when needed. So its just not brady who is the choker. How about your boi Peyton though? what 8 one and done's? most in NFL history? Tom has 3.

Fourth, yes we all remember spygate. do you know the facts there. everyone was doing it but since we're the hated PAts we got snitched on and blamed and lost a first rounder. but hey no damn biggie. we only went 16-0 best regualar season ever and we were 2 lucky azz plays from being the greatest team to ever touch the field.... AFTER spygate. We've maintained the same success after it too. you see that graphic before? 13 STRAIGHT WINNING seasons. closest to it is 4. wow.

We have not turned into the early Colts because we have been to 4 AFCCG and 2 SB's since 2006. and like stated two boneheaded/lucky plays from the greatest SB victory ever.

I hope it snows to the high heavens in Denver sunday afternoon so Peyton can shh1t his pants as he always does when it gets cold.

You call everyone else "chokers" but fail to see Tom Brady choked your last Superbowl away on his very first possession of the game. That safety set the tone for the rest of the game. You blame Welker, say he sucks and cannot catch the ball but Peyton is making him look like a HOF receiver this year.

Good luck choking again this year. The question isn't IF you will choke, it's WHEN will you choke.

    Yes, the irony is spectacular.

Will the Patriots choke this year? Not a chance. Will they lose to a team that is better on the day? Maybe.

Best bets in the upcoming games? Patriots and Seahawks.
Team most likely to choke? Broncos. Why? Because Gomer is a choker of epic proportions.

Clever post and I appreciate someone who backs up their rant with stats and facts.

Glad you're happy with Peyton and apparently you have 2 dogs in the fight this year...eh?    You sound a little like a New York fan who piggybacks on whoever is facing the Patriots (JEts or Jints)  but they both suck this year so now we have you...  the colts /manning hybrid fan depending how th. wind blows..

Oh and better hope the wind don't blow on Peyton's flutterballs...  goat ,  sure....  The PROOF was the second half of Pats /broncs this year.  bRADY THROWING BULLETS and Poor peyton fluttering and handing it off....   so sad his last year in the NFL is going down like this.

AS for the Goat the Patriots string of DOMINANCE and CONSISTENCY over the past decade  (actually its more like a bakers dozen years...eh ?)   will never be matched.

You cling like grim death to the lack of titles as your feebly thin line of argument but with a couple bounces there are 2 more titles for Belichick and Brady and without losses of Gronk and other gameplan mistakes ...  it could be argued that a couple other playoff wins and SB opportunities were RIGHT THERE FOR THE TAKING.....!

You are so daft to argue otherwise really.  It is comical weak feeble thinking.  this is football and games can be lost.  What is hard is getting back to the playoff title games year after year as New England has done...  giving them a chance.  Hows your gomergoat 's record in title games ...?

Go back to your hybrid fan crybaby hole where you can't see straight anymore having been dominated for so long...  So nows your chance to jump up and trash talk...?   lol....got anything more to say....?

Re: The Patriots jinx will continue

Saying a Jinx will continue is a very negative attitude from a fan--I'd felt the same way had 49ers lost yesterday vs GB as they outplayed them the whole game & there was(see videos) blatant holding on the pass Rodgers escaped from the pack & tossed a miraculous TD.

Speaking of choking or being jinxed, the 49ers in the past 2 years made 2 egregious mistakes, I think, that prevented them from winning the SB.

I have mentioned in a few posts that I've lived in the SF bay area for more than 40 years but first 21 years were in Maine before the draft & USMC called me away. Roots run deep so I am a Boston Teams fan first but it's difficult to not have enjoyed Montana, Rice, Young etc. so I like the 49ers too.

FIRST BIG BLUNDER...I wanted a Pats-Niner Super Bowl 2 years ago but 2 bonehead fumbles let the Giants(I hate NY teams) tie & win in OT with field goals the NFC title game I hoped Pats would get me some revenge & they lose to Giants(did too 2 years earlier in the SB). Many above posts covered the reasons, and many were bad luck, for the resaons why Pats lost.

Now, last year, the Ravens knock out the Pats in the AFC title game(Welker drops a ball he'd caught 9 out of 10 times and game over) & I look for the 49ers to get some revenge in the Superbowl & Kapernick( he went wild in previous 2 playoffs) fails to run once from the 5 yard line missing 4 passes. 2ND BIG BLUNDER...Harbaugh is at fault too & I don't care if Balt had him scouted for the run, he should have tried once.

Pats & 49ers are probably long shots with many fans probably wanting a Seahawk/Bronco superbowl but with a New England/SF matchup I can't lose whoever wins. Please don't ask whom I favor and let's hope we get to that point.

Need Pats to beat the Colts who were one of the 49er 4  losses. It was bitter-sweet for Harbaugh as he coached Luck at Stanford.

against the Colts. Your team has not won anything in a decade. Why you guys continue to thump your chests is beyond me. You have turned into the Colts of the early years with Manning but without all the MVP awards and records.  You have absolutely NOTHING to brag about!

2003 was the last good season you had. Your last Superbowl was on February 6th 2004.

My guess is you'll go one and done and lose to the Colts. What a fitting way to close out the last few years of Brady's career. Out with the old and in with the new.

BTW... Thanks for keeping Mannings record warm for him. He never said Tom could keep it. He was just letting him borrow it for a while. And it only took him 15 game to get it back.... lol

Lets not forget Peytons record setting 5th MVP award he will be receiving either. This was the best season for any QB ever in the NFL.

What did you expect from the greatest QB that ever lived though.

    Peyton=Goat

Karma is a b!tch......   Remember that Spygate thing?
