Its part of being a rookie in the NFL. Look at Peyton in his first year. Im not saying Sanchez is Manning but I think he will be a decent QB in the league

Big thing will be whether or not he bounces back, if he doesn't the NY media (that is already eating him alive) will roast him raw and Clemmons is back in the picture (he is already). Once again Green New Jersey has gone all in on a single player rejuvenating their franchise and taking them to the post-season; if that doesn't happen some will call for changes.....I still think if that happens Tananbaum should be fired for all the busts he's drafted and for hawking the house to get Sanchez....probably won't happen though....just a whole of fans whinning.....media pundits giving their (not so) expertise advice as per usual.

Favre must have rubbed off on this guy....he leads the league in INTs.....LOL!

The book is out on him already!

Ryan is doing a good job making this NY Jets team look like a worse version of the Ravens...All D and no O.

Was he tearing up in his press conference after the game? It looked like he was when I saw it. It'll be interesting to see if he can bounce back from this. He does have a tough schedule ahead of him.

If he gets benched his terrible starts will eat at him for a while and his confidence will be shot. If they want him to be the future of the franchise they need to let him play and grow. Let's hope they don't and he turns out to be a bust for the Jets.

How many draft picks have the Jets wasted lately? They are going to have no young  prospects the next few years. That could really hurt their future.

He is in the wrong division for someone that has never played in weather under 55 degrees.  He's going to have a long season, how great would it be if they continued the losing streak with the Raiders next week!  They are unlikely to have Jenkins and who knows how Sanchez will bounce back.

This one was especially ugly. For all the whining by Pats haters about the Bills handing the Pats the game week one they missed this little fact. When handed a chance the Pats took advantage. The Jets were handed the game several times in regulation and OT and each time they either failed to advance the ball or turned it over.
As I said in another post the only sports writer not willing to crown Sanchez as the next H of F QB was Bill Plaschke of the LA Times. He questioned his fitness for the NFL and of all the ESPN talking heads he was the one who had follwed Sanchez's entire career. He could still be proven wrong but right now Sanchez is making him look like a genius.
Then there's the cold weather question. Normally not an issue but the kid grew up in So Cal and has never played or practiced in cold weather. Not a good thing for a QB playing in the Northeast. yesterday was a mild summer afternoon compared to what he might see in Buffalo and Foxboro come late Nov early Dec. I suggest the Jests rent a large refrigeration facilty and start practicing in it.

He really hasn't played all that well in any of the games he started. Check his stats, I think he has a QB rating of 83.5 in the first 3 games? He has upside, but his growth could be stunted if he stays in NY. QBs that can't play in the cold (Seyton Manning) can rarely beat NE at home come January. He needs a dome.

The Jets already won "The Super Bowl"; he is just enjoying the offseason.

Oops, no one told the Jets, that the win against the Pats wasn't really the SB? Oh well.
