That's nothing more than a speculative piece about Ryan's "wish list." It says right in the story that neither the Chiefs nor the Broncos have expressed a desire to trade either of those receivers and, frankly, they would be foolish to do so, unless Green New Jersey was floating somebody like Leon Washington.

What Rex Ryan wants and what he is going to get are two vastly different things.

I don't think the Broncos are getting rid of Marshall, And the Cheifs seem to be making up with Bowe so I'm thinking none of them are going to be available. The Jets offense is going to be pretty non-existant this year like it was in Baltimore for awhile.

Rex Ryan is 450 pounds, he shouldn't worry about us, he should worry about dropping dead.

First of all, of course they would do a deal with the Jets if it was a good deal for them... problem is Jets have little to offer either Denver or KC for those players. And second of all Jets will be lucky to be 8-8 this season even if they did get one of those players.
Depending on Ryans ability and if Sanchez(sp) is a top QB they have a shot in another year or two to challenge Pats.

Please let those idiots trade a high draft choice for Bowe, or, especially, Brandon "Beat Her Up" Marshall.

Heres' more on the Jets' trading for a WR rumors: http://www.nydailynews.com/sports/football/jets/2009/08/19/2009-08-19_jets_looking_to_make_trade.html

Ryan hasn't won a game in the NFL, and he likely cost the Ravens the 2007 game against the Pats with his idiotic time-out.  He tried this same move the other night against the Rams, supposedly to "ice" the kicker at the half (great idea in a preseason game - add another play and risk injuries).  Like father, like son.  Ryan's father Buddy was known for shooting his mouth off and acting a lot tougher than his record would indicate (and even attacking other coaches, see Gilbride, Kevin).  With Belichick and the Pats, playing smart and keeping your mouth shut is a significant contributor to their success.

Rex Ryan is leaving the Jets to play nose tackle 4 the Pats. He's a good run stuffer.

Just speculating, but the Jets could also pick up Marvin Harrison.  It's a shot in the dark.

The Pats do their talking in the game and thats one thing that makes us so good. Ryan will learn very quickly that words mean nothing in the AFC East.

Of the 2, and I've watched both in person since they joined the league, Bowe is better. He's a big guy, who runs great routes. marshall is on again, off again. bowe will fight a guy for the ball.
