    Re: Urlacher Retires

its funny. I never, ever would put TB in Urlachers league pre injury to Urlacher. Urlacher imo was on the road to all time great

I agree, first ballot HOF. I dont think TB even gets a sniff of the HOF..

Rusty, I am nervous. This is the 2nd time I agreed with you in 2 days. I must be slipping, or you must be improving your football knowledge

    Cease firing!! Cease firing!!

Seriously, Urlacher is one of the great L/Bs of our time.  For me the man defined, more than Ray Lewis, MLB play during his playing years.

Great LB, but I do agree he was hampered by the injury. Still a HOF career.

That, to me was one of the most memorable Brady moments of all time.

I couldn't believe it was him at the time and even after seeing it now I almost can't believe it.

It's as if he thought he was Barry Sanders for a couple seconds.

great player and leader and tough as nails...deserves Canton and goes down as worthy successor to Butkus and Singletary

that said not Ray Lewis, no way...Lewis had to be accounted for on every play a la LT in his prime and was one of the great motivaters/leaders of his generation-not so Urlacher-never as dominant as Lewis, never intimidated like Lewis, didn't go sideline to sideline like Lewis-who was gyped of the 2000 MVP b/c the refuse to give it to a defensive player but he deserved it

Urlacher was great, Lewis was an all-time great
