We need a new punching bag

With Darius BUSTler and Brandumb Marywithers shown the door. Who are we going to love to hate this year?

I think Chad has already gotten that title from most bandwagon jumping pink hats on this board. Even though we didn't have OTA's and he was traded for during the beginning of training camp, people expected him to grab 2 touchdowns each preseason game. He's not going to be the Moss of '07 but he will surely be an asset in this dynamic offense. People need to have realistic expectations for him. I say 70 grabs, 900 yards and 8 touchdowns. Sounds good to me

Give me a game or two.  So far I'm 5 for 5 and if Killa disagrees with me you know it's a lock the guy isn't finishing out his contract in New England.

    Dan Koppen or SeaBass.

Koppen is turrible and speed-rushers eat Vollmer's lunch. Game 1 against Wake and Game 2 against Phillips and Vollmer gets the whip!

Could be Guyton too, I don't think TCal and Killa are fans of Guyton.

I don't get the need to WANT to hate a Patriot.

    Meriweather brought it upon himself.

I wasn't aware of anyone actually disliking Butler, just a wide knowledge that he stunk.

I don't know, to me, a true fan would never look for a local player to hate. I have no problem bashing people that deserve it, but waiting and looking for someone? That seems a little sad, save the disrespect for the other teams if you must carry it.

Cunningham? The clock is ticking? Are you Rick Pitino?

Vollmer? You're about the only person I've ever seen write anything negative about the guy.

Koppen? He has been one of the best, and is still in the top third Cs in the league.

Honestly, I'm pretty disappointed that this thread even got started, and has a fair amount on legitimate input.

"Jets" was the only appropriate answer I saw.

How about which new player will become a fan favorite instead of such a negative hate-mongering thread? I can't believe it's ME saying this, often the angriest person around here. Which leads me to: ESPN S U C K S!

I think its more likely people expected him not to drop as many balls as he has.
